Flanged Globe Valve

In piping systems, globe valves primarily serve as shut-off devices, though they can also be utilized for limited flow regulation. During the opening and closing process, the frictional force acting on the sealing surfaces of a globe valve is lower than that of a gate valve. Typically, they feature a single sealing surface, and—depending on specific requirements—can be manufactured with either hard-sealed or soft-sealed seats.
