Flanged Swing Check Valve

The flanged swing check valve is the most commonly used one-way valve for large-diameter, medium-to-low pressure pipelines. It opens and closes automatically in response to the pressure of the medium, permitting flow in only one direction and preventing backflow. Operating Principle: Forward Flow—The pressure of the medium pushes open the disc-shaped valve flap; the flap pivots around a pin shaft to open, allowing for unobstructed flow. Reverse Flow—The combined force of the medium's pressure and the weight of the valve flap causes the flap to swing back onto the valve seat, creating a tight seal and preventing backflow.
